The Forum for Educational Leadership accepting applications from aspiring K-12 leaders

Since launching in 2022, the Forum has supported more than 330 education leaders from around the country through coaching, mentorship, and peer-to-peer relationship building.

As a focused supplement to traditional superintendent training and certification programs, the Forum employs a comprehensive development model to prepare cohorts of leaders for the academic, political, legal, and logistical rigors inherent to K-12 education.

The Forum is the only national training model with tracks specifically designed for women and with content grounded in the data, trends, insight, and research most relevant to today’s education leaders. 

Since launching in the summer of 2022, the Forum has supported more than 330 leaders, harnessing the power of coaching, mentorship, and peer-to-peer relationship building. Of the graduates:

  • 61% were leaders of color
  • 67% were women
  • 33 states and 127 districts have been represented 

More than one-third of graduates from the first four cohorts have advanced to superintendent roles of districts and states, or more senior cabinet roles, within one year of program completion.
